About SnugSetup
SnugSetup is an independent publication for people who work from home without a spare room: in studio apartments, shared bedrooms, living-room corners and closets turned into offices.
Most furniture reviews assume you have space for a 60-inch desk. We don't. Our guides focus on the measurements that decide whether something will actually fit: footprint, depth, height range, weight capacity, and how a piece of furniture behaves in a room shared with other things.
What we do
- Compare products using manufacturers' published specifications and prices, and show where every number came from and when we checked it.
- Explain how to measure your own space before buying.
- Say plainly when something is a trade-off, including on products we link to.
What we don't do
- We don't claim hands-on testing we haven't done.
- We don't publish made-up star ratings or invented reviews.
- We don't make health or medical claims about furniture.
- We don't accept payment for placement in our rankings.
